It will only get better! We went to cafe rouge the other day to celebrate my birthday. I love bread and quite like fries now and then. Have been following lchf since January. Shared a starter for 1 with hubbie - bread sticks with garlic butter and for the first time ever wished I'd had the Camembert. My moules came with fries and I ate a bare handful. Just not interested. We also shared a dessert. Chocolate banana cake and half was enough! I now no longer miss rice, pasta or potatoes. Still miss crisps and bread occasionally. Cake is something I indulge in but only occasionally. I put 3lbs on last weekend as a result of half a bottle of wine in one sitting, the meal I described and 2 pieces of cake. One on Friday and the other (birthday cake) on Sunday. Have lost 1lb already. Hubbie thinks I shouldn't beat up self as birthday is something which happens once a year.
 
We all need a treat now and then. It helps to keep us on the straight and narrow. Just been out and treated to all you can eat breakfast. ! So I will be scaring myself with a finger prick as penance in a short while. ( courage permitting) :rolleyes:..
Could be a head in the sand moment. :writer:

Bg at 5.5 WOW.at 2 3/4hrs. Have to have all you can eat breakfast every day.. yeppee....:brb:

I wish I had been on blue **** wine. Ate last piece of birthday cake so probably high on sugar rush! :(
