Hi all I've been newly diagnosed with type1/2 and I use basal insulin and metformin 850 mg . Since being diagnosed I feel tired all the time , I don't have the will to check my blood levels . I feel like I lose more hair . Can any one help me out I don't get why I have all this . Injecting don't upset me in any way .

you need to test..there is no pass / fail..the number is just a number you will work with to get your BG in range, it sounds like you are still too high, diet and exercise still count

I've been like his for the past 6 months . I got my sugars under control when I was first diagnosed my BG was well over 35. Now mist days it's between 5-7

The tiredness may not be down to the diabetes. Hair loss is a symptom of an underactive thyroid. Here is a list of possible causes of tiredness that may help you work out why you are tired:
  1. Underactive Thyroid
  2. High blood sugars
  3. Iron deficiency anaemia
  4. Vitamin D deficiency
  5. Vitamin B12 deficiency
  6. Depression
  7. Stress
  8. Sleep Apnea
  9. Not getting enough sleep or good quality sleep
