Sounds lush... Are you still losing weight though? What a worry it all is...

It seems to have settled into same weight for almost 2 weeks now. V happy. Bgs have risen a bit but seeing a small downwards trend. I'm happy to carry on lchf as I just feel the best I ever have...I wish I had done this years ago :)

Roast chicken, Spanish potatoes,(28g carb) sprouts, broccoli, spinach, carrots with a smidge of bisto best chicken gravy.

No pudd :-(

B-mushroom, spinach, cheese omelet
L- left over chicken breast, cubed - dozen brussle sprouts quartered, red pepper, 4 cubed mushrooms. Coconut and olive oil, spoon full of red curry paste. Added coconut milk, butter, garlic, and hot sauce to kick it up a notch, simmered for a bit for,the flavones to come out. (Rest save in a container for tomorrow's lunch)

S- will be salmon poached in a little butter. Avocado mashed with fresh garlic, lemon juice and dill weed as a topping. Have a big bag of kale in the fridge that I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet. Might be tossed with a bit of olive oil and some spices over low heat in a pan. Sundries tomatoes come to mind, perhaps some spinach too.

Wife experimented by making the yorkie with cornflour, came out a treat. Next time just a Tad less oil. Going to try with 1 Cal spray.
Was unable to count all the carbs but must have been okkie. Happy.

bacon and scam egg, with small latte (15g carbs)
2 brown rice cake (12g carbs) with butter and marmite, and two LC cheese straws
lemon ginger chicken, green beans, broccoli, orange pepper and one tablesp rice (??gcarb), then stawberries, blueberries and cream.

checked bg after the rice cakes, from 5.9 to 6.8 at 1 hr, then 6.7 at 2hrs. not ideal, but I'm still wondering about enzyme lag...

forgot to check bg before evening meal, but 6.7 at 2 hrs after.

No carb plague all weekend. It was definitely the wheat that was a problem.
But is 1 tblsp of rice really worth the effort? Mr B even had a whinge because I stole that spoonful off his plate. :jimlad:

Brunch ..
90% sausage two bacon slices fried egg.
D.chrizo with peppers and onions (left over from friday)
Green salad mayo and 10 pitted black olives ...

B: tried my hand at a green smoothie which was a complete disaster - are they supposed to taste like grass???? Gave up and had bacon scrambled eggs, mushrooms and toms when I got to work.
L: veg soup
D: going to have a pork chop or two, and veg. and probably Greek yoghurt and berries.

Just come back from the docs, and I was a bit concerned when he asked what I had been taking Metformin for! I gave him my list of symptoms that I had written down which he didnt look at, and then he proceeded to ask me what symptoms I had experienced...oh dear...eventually he said he did not know what my vomiting bouts might be caused by, but could be gastroparesis and I was to discuss with the diabetes team but still gave me some medication to take at the next episode....
*sigh* why do I bother??? :banghead:

Good evening from Bahrain.... You have all done wonderful things today... We had:
Kippers and almond/coconut flour bread for breakfast...
Then streaky bacon, good pork sausages, portobello mushrooms with garlic in butter, and an egg, for lunch...
Unfortunately supper was late... But I mad up for it... Grey Goose Vodka, icy from the freezer, with slimline tonic and lashings of ice and lemon... Followed by chicken soup, made by slowly poaching a little chicken with carrot, celery, baby marrow, shallot and garlic... remove the chicken and veg, cover with foil, add more of the same veg fresh to the stock with a Kallo chicken stock cube, simmer til veg is soft, whizz about half of the veg to thicken it, stir in a whirl of cream, butter some more almond bread and call the husband.... let him put as much fragrant, soft chicken into the golden soup as he likes, with a grind of black pepper ... And then spoil him with sugar-free strawberry jelly and a dash of cream... he was so happy.. :)
Considering he's not diabetic and only following me for support, he does very well... ;) (I gave him a snack of tappenade on bread and almond butter on the same as well, earlier .... he's lost three kilos... :) Cool.... )
Yesterday we got in from the airport at 4am and I was so tired it was not a very flavoursome day I'm afraid... It's bedtime now and I have just made hot chocolate with pure cacao powder and goat's milk... I love goat's products and I think it's lush... I know everyone is muttering about how horrid it is... :) I sweetened it with Stevia powder... sigh... busy day, time for bed...

I fear it is not dear heart.... I eat no carbs no, except the little that's in my nuts, seeds, veg and a very little fruit... How mean of Mr B to begrudge you a little rice... I don't understand what your Miracle is but I wouldn't progress to the darn things... I get hot with carbs too... like the menopause? Nasty things.. :) I love my cholesterol hit at every meal, I have to admit... My scores have been good... fingers crossed...

breakfast scrambled eggs
lunch bacon and leek frittata and coleslaw from deli, soya latte
dinner Mr E has kindly shared his cold virus with me and then developed one very painful man part which is making him walk like John Wayne and feel sorry for himself, despite the attractive lady GP examining him so no one could be bothered with cooking. So he had sausage and bacon buns and I just had the sausage and bacon on a plate with a tsp piccalilli. And now I have to stoke fire, feed cats and make own hot water bottle as he has taken his sore parts to bed.

B - 1 slice of seeded bread with lashing of butter and peanut butter
L - chicken salad with olive oil and 2 chocolates
D - smoked mackerel with salad, cheesy coleslaw and German smoked cheese (think this might be my new chocolate)
Berries and cream for later if I need it
