@cold ethyl, @Bluetit1802

Thank you all in fact everyone.
The medication is beginning to work, going to the little boys room is no more such a challenge.

Foolishly I tried going to work this afternoon however had to return home after 30 minutes energy levels are still very low.

The condition came on very sudden and progressed with great speed.

On the positive side BG only off normal by up to 0.5 mmol

@MsVelvet really well done, congratulations! :)

Forgot to test before dinner last night (too involved in the cooking) so no point in a +2. 6.0 at bedtime, 5.6 this morning.
A +2 can still be a useful guide. Odd times I've forgotten the pre but my post has been in the 8s so I know I've had too many carbs (usually portion has been too big )

Thank goodness for Arnica cream. Either my fingers don't bleed or I end up with bruises. Overnight Arnica helps take it away. Looks like I've dirty fingertips ;-). Numbers much more decent today tho think I've got something "lurking". Not quite a cold yet and the aches mayb bug or just my fibromyalgia flaring. Goodnight all - or have a great day - depending upon your hemisphere ;-)

6.2 this morning.

Thankyou for all the congratulations from my test results yesterday. Truth is I am so new to this I did not know how good of a result it was. You all made me feel amazing! I found this forum from day 1 and Jack gave me the diet doctor site reference and I have followed LCHF religiously from that point on. From time to time I have experimented with carb amounts, but basically keep them as low as I can and definitely under 40g and usually around 20g. I eat as much fat as possible, more cheese than most people would consider in a day.....5 slices at a time and always some cream in the day. My cholesterol is normal, so that blows the don't eat fatty foods out the window. I am losing weight, but have not been on the scales for over a month. I don't want to make this about weight loss, it is about controlling my bs and that is it. I am going to stop going to the dietician for that reason as she always turns it into a weight discussion.

I think that this forum is the most valuable tool we have, we learn from each other, share and support one another. Can't ask for more than that in the blessing stakes. For all of you I am very grateful!

Not the best off nights last night as I was home alone when we had a power cut, which seemed to go on for hours. It's a good thing my phone was fully charged as it was the only thing working

Off to my tennis game now.

Have a great weekend
