Nothing over 6.4 all day. 5.4 pre tea.

Best results ever. Morning you guys :)

6.5- bedtime
6.2 - fasting :D

Busy day yesterday moving some very heavy furniture which became a much bigger job than intended. A bedroom, large hall and living room have been completely changed around, including moving my desk and office furniture into a new room! I skipped a meal and consumed only 850 calories according to the warning message from MyFitnessPal

Have a good weekend everyone and keep warm

Great result :)

A huge liver dump this morning, after waking up at 5,3 I rode the bike to the tennis club, played tennis fot an hour and rode back home before having breakfast.

Result - my glucose level shot up to 6,8. :-(

This exercise induced rises have been more of a problem since I cut down on metformin.

But at least I won the game against my coach

Diana - Would you have been able to do all that physical stuff (with your RA) before adopting your new eating style? (Just wondering about the day-to-day impact as well as the medical stuff.)

5.5 this morning :)

Don't you just love walking to a good BS fasting result....now let's hope I can keep it up Ops or should that be down lol

No absolutely not! I would have been totally dependent on help. I'm amazed at how much I did and I did it entirely alone including moving a heavy oak antique desk and all my PC equipment, unplugging it and reconnecting it again (and finding it still worked!) in a different room. I smashed my hand against the doorway when moving an antique sofa through 2 doorways from one room into another and and my knuckles and ring finger are very bruised, swollen and painful today but otherwise I surprised myself with my energy levels, physical strength and ability (and colourful language!)

Can't imagine the calories I used!

Long may this continue :)

Arnica cream for the bruise. Best applied straight away but still helps later on. Fingers still look heavily bruised so reapplied this morning. Had to turn Lancet depth up a notch to get decent bleed to test wth cold weather. Hot water washing no longer helping
:(. By the way to you guys in colder climes it's a warm, balmy 1℃ after slight overnight frost

Thank goodness for Arnica cream. Either my fingers don't bleed or I end up with bruises. Overnight Arnica helps take it away. Looks like I've dirty fingertips ;-). Numbers much more decent today tho think I've got something "lurking". Not quite a cold yet and the aches mayb bug or just my fibromyalgia flaring. Goodnight all - or have a great day - depending upon your hemisphere ;-)

Same problem here, Jan. I use lashings of E45 on my hands/fingers, and that works well. I also take testing holidays from time to time, but get withdrawal symptoms so they don't last long!

6.2 today. Up slightly since dropping back to two Metformin possibly, though I was and am in lot of pain with my fibromyalgia so might be that too.

It was minus 7 degrees here last night. I took the dog a trot round the garden at 11pm. The grass was solid with frost, and the cars looked like igloos. No better this morning.

5.4 at bedtime
5.6 this morning.
