I did something really intelligent this morning. I got up in the night, and stepped on my belt buckle. The immediate effect of this was a lot of pain, and the reminder of just how many swear words I have learned during my life. Now, I am wondering if I should give my foot any special treatment on account of my diabetes. A small blood blister has formed in the centre of my foot. It's not very painful, and could be easily ignored. My Type 1 diabetes is well controlled and I have no signs of neuropathy. Should I just let it heal on its own, or do I need to put some form of cream on it? Any advice appreciated, thanks
