Hi Guys just an idea for all making mince pies. I am gluten free and dairy free. I find using xanthan gum in baking helps hold pastry together both before and after cooking. You can get it in sainsburys or Holland and barrett its a natural binder.:)

4.3 for me this morning. This is towards the upper end of my personal range, but I'm absolutely fine with it.

Play nicely boys and girls. I have to tackle the M1, A14 and M25 today, so I may be a little grumpy later on!

Rather disappointing 6.5 about an hour after getting up. I did have half a tomato left over from making my daughter's pack lunch and a sucralose sweetened espresso beforehand :)

Last night I had my first reasonably normal roast dinner for a while and was 5.5 before and 8.8 2 hours after.

More work to be done methinks.

5.5 this morning, (but I was woken up a couple of times in the night, and I've found that pushes me up a bit as well), so after the food yesterday, I'm more than pleased with that :)

Been on a real diabetic downer this last few days, but remained on target (ish) for carbs, so haven't bothered monitoring. Maybe the weather being so cold I don't know. But anyway I tested this morning for 6.2, which isn't too shabby.
