Hi and welcome.

Must be meant to stay home today5.3 this lovely crisp and sunny morning ....Gates are frozen shut![]()
Liked but not pleased with your doc4.8 this morning. Had my review with the GP. No change in medication and he wasn't too keen on the self testing even though i argued the point that after my recent eye scare it would seem to be a prudent thing to do. His argument was based on my HbA1c of 49 (6.6) being very good. I argued that in light of my recent eye episode I need to be at 42 (6.0). No chance of getting any strips on prescription.
Hope the change in metformin works and the shingles clears soon6 today. And finally plucked up courage to mention aches and pains to GP- swapping to slow release Metformin as it could be lactic acid- I suspect I also have shingles as I have a rash along waist and under bra that hurts like mad ( like when I had shingles once before) but he didn't seem that fussed about it. Hope you feel better Allibee as itching is a nightmare....xxx
Welcome to the madhouse/thread and a belated happy birthdayAbout between 7 - 9
5.1 ..... 2nd in a row and all down to post evening meal exercise. Something else I've learnt.
6.4 this morning. I have decided to give up seeing the dietician, all I get is the eat more carbs lecture. She wants me to eat 200g a day!!!!!! Man my readings would be at 10 if I did that consistently. I am sticking with my under 40g a day for the moment. Instead yesterday I bought some scales, so I can check my weight loss as we go. I promised my husband I will only weigh once a day........I get a bit obsessive with the scales. Just like the low carbs.
It has stopped raining here in Brisbane, Australia and the sun is shining bright.........the humidity is unbearable, airconditioning on.....sorry freezing people
