8.7 mmol/l. Not feeling too good had to go to GP out of hours at the Hospital. Have an infection and on antibiotics. This is why my sugars are up and the reason I have been sleeping a lot last three days. Hopefully turn around tomorrow.

7.2 this morning higher than I would like.
All the snow went overnight with a good deal of rain. Very mild now - hope it lasts (Switzerland).

Sorry to hear this Eddie. I hope the anti-biotics kick in quickly. Take care.

A take your pick reading this morning. I got from 5.8 to 7.1! Did 7 readings and got a cluster around 6 so I'm taking that-, this batch ending in 26 seems very erratic to me and I sadly got 5 more pots of it delivered yesterday.
Tomorrow I am going to start taking my slow release Metformin - still think it's at bottom of all my aches and pains but need it give the slow release version a go so I can argue my way off it if it is no better. Also I do think it helps with my fasting readings - they are higher of f the Metformin and I can't think of anything to do to alter that as I go to bed reasonably low.

Hope everyone feels poorly soon picks up. I am always glad to see the back of January and February as they seem one endless stream of bugs..

5.7 here. Mrs S still feeling rough. Last day of holidays before returning to work :arghh:, expecting fasting levels to increase slightly tomorrow, January is going to be very hectic ...

I thought we were supposed to eat cream/cheese?

Cream and cheese are absolutely fine, but some people find if they really increase their fats in the latter part of the day their fasting level goes up a notch.

5.0 this morning. Fully back to normal next week so hopefully I will return to the 4s regularly again then

6.1 this morning, but some really erratic numbers after dinner last night : 9.1, 8.0 and 7.8 all taken within 5 minutes.

Could it be the horrendous cough/loss of voice? 9.1 certainly worried the you-know-what out of me.

Oh and weight down to 8st 6.5 lbs this morning.

Before lunch yesterday my Codefree batch 26 had a range between 5.2 and 6.6, with clusters at both ends of the range. I just abandoned any personal recording. There is no way you can spot trends or test meals with that variance. Far too erratic.

Good luck with the SR Metformin.

6.7 for me after 50 laps (25 pre and 25 post dinner) and that's at 2 hours following dinner. Satisfied but more work to do :)

Take care out there guys :)

7.8 bedtime (supper was a rare treat of shop bought battered cod and pea fritter)
6.3 fasting

Sunshine here in the South, but a sad day for me. I have to empty my beach hut today before it is bulldozed tomorrow and a row of new ones built. I've been holding it off to the last minute as this one contains many happy memories gathered over the years........

Oh what a shame. Childhood memories of that 'beach hut' smell .....

But you do get one of the new ones don't you? Or are you not taking that up?
