Yeah, he told me that if the company he works for supplied the tank , it would be $1200, and $600+ to do a weekend install.

Have a blast... your numbers are so good...So many colds and bugs going round. Take care everyone, keep warm, and recover quickly those of you stricken down.
@alliebee how are the measles doing?
4.9 at bedtime
5.2 this morning
Off out for a birthday lunch with the family later. Probably a good job I've started the day quite low!
Sorry BT, just noticed how far behind everyone else I am!Have a blast... your numbers are so good...Me, 6.2 this morning... I have infected sinuses - I suppose that would push it up?
Thank you kind SableJ... I always seem to be over the top every morning... I think I might try exercise before bed, but it's a bit daunting when you are drifting into that pre-sleep thing... I wonder if I have enough discipline to make myself do it when all I want to do is fall into bed with my book...No such thing as "duffer" in this thread. We're all learning all the time. It's just there's stuff you don't know yet

What are seeded sensations... the mind is boggling...We'll I've found I can get away with 2 slices seeded sensations - either version, but 2 home baked slices have put.me up 3 (to 8.9) after 2 hrs and I did try to cut thinner than my doorsteps of old. Ah, well, now I know! Test in ano hr, see what happens. Had my fasting been lower I'd still have been under the radartho obvs still too spiked
How will you do that? Hardcore I mean? Did you know that xylitol cures inner-ear infections? How cool is that?7.2 this morning. Had more carbs than usual yesterday. Poss 80g. So need to go hardcore today to let that insulin resistance dissipate...
Do you make the almond flour/flax flour bread? I have been so nervous about eating anything I 'shouldn't', but after your post I think I may try some chocolate..5.6 for me this morning and just ONE slice of homemade bread in toaster today. My only 8, nearly 9 of Xmas caused by two slices. Put 2lbs on but chocs all gone now. Eating them in 3s didn't spike me but won't be buying any all the same![]()
How true that is eddie 1968... it made me think - I hadn't really noticed my confidence rising with the years, but you are right...Yes Kim, it is a learning process. I do not worry about much these days, am confident and outgoing as people have commented. Relaxation tapes, creature comforts and a positive attitude help me. As you know I have escaped by the skin of my teeth from the ICU twice and have found a reason to appreciate life. Youngsters are vulnerable when suffering depression and lack the life experience of adults and are just learning how to cope with life especially today's rat race.
Why did you start taking them? Were your levels high to begin with? Was it the statins that brought them down? My sister has familial high cholesterol and she's on statins... my reading went up slightly after I started low-carbing, but I don't normally have much of a problem... my doc said most diabetics take statins? Is high cholesterol linked to calcification in the arteries? Hah! I'm like Alice - so many questions before breakfast...Hi SJ
I started a thread on that exact subject 2 days back (statins - your experiences please) and I've elected to stop taking them as I felt they were doing more harm than good and in any event, my cholesterol readings are close enough to perfect. Thanks for caring
Mike

...and how are you enjoying Oz? Are you with family, or just having a well-earned holiday? I hope you're well-away from bush-fires...Hi SJ

Better soonest Loulou...7.2 this morning been up most of the night with chest. Bad news guys had nasty asthma attack yesterday now in hospital :-( so posts might not be great.
...mother...5.7 this morning after a decent sleep despite the wind. Still a bit breezy out there but I have to brave it later as want a few bits for junior to take back to uni on Sunday.
Take care of it....4.1 this morning but got the beginnings of a cold since yesterday.
I thought we were supposed to eat cream/cheese?Have you been hitting the cheese/cream again? (Wasn't that a potential culprit last time?)
So frustrating...Another load of tripe from both my meters today (Codefree and Accu Chek Mobile)
The Codefree ranged from 5.2 to 6.6 with 2 readings at 6.6 and 2 at 5.2. At the same time the Accu Chek ranged from 4.8 to 6.8, with 2 readings at 4.8 and one at 5.6.
This was before lunch and I would expect mid 5's normally, but it was an early lunch so could have been high 5's. This is getting ridiculous.
I have ended up not recording any reading at all as I have no idea what to record and don't want to skew my averages, either upwards or downwards. I suppose I could average the whole lot!
