My latest batch of inset IIs are really stiff. They are much harder to pull back and you have to squeeze very hard to fire. Anyone else finding this?

I thought the same with the last two I used, but my hands have been a bit gammy, so blamed it on that. Will keep an eye on the next few set changes to see if they are the same.

Animas admitted there is a problem with some and have exchanged a box for me. They will only exchange one box at a time though. A friend of mine is so fed up with the decline in quality she has changed to another brand of pump. I stupidly locked in for another 4 years :(

Funny as I currently have the same problem with a batch of silouhette cannulas. I almost feel as if I'm pulling the whole thing out as I try and squeeze to withdraw it. Anyone with problems hand because of things like arthritis etc. and it would be a real problem. I'm always feared that I pull so hard the inserter needle will snap in me!

Good to know. I'll keep it in mind in case I've any other bother with them.

Maybe a little stiffer lately, yes. But not impossibly so.
