Pet household chore hate

I've also got a vacuum cleaner that doesn't cooperate, so many tools n thingies it ends up attacking me. Reminds me of the scene in Airplane 2 the sequel when Ted opens the door marked "DANGER VACUUM" lol sooo funee

My house was built in the 1930s and is made of brick and contains no plasterboard. My kitchen is weird, there is a step down and from floor to ceiling it is 12 feet and I was emulsioning the ceiling with a short handled roller as I misplaced my long roller. Silly stuff, DIY is dangerous and it has sunk in.

OMG don't talk to me about dangerous DIY  still haven't got over it :(

Everything is the same to me: starting is hell, the middle is interesting and stopping is heaven.

I had to buy a new blind today, just don't ask, slight frustration on my part with disabling hand and wrist, but managed to get blind up today and it looks good ( thank god, as everything takes double or triple the time :arghh: ) ah that's better, all calm now )
ps should of chosen blue paint, as it would of matched my, erm recent langauge ( just a little bit) :angelic:

Well you got it done though, rrb hope your wrist gets well soon ::))

Thank you Clive :) wallpapering my one feature wall next, but will give it a few days I think, just to be on the safe side, as I am not buying anymore wallpaper  but might treat my bedroom to a nice rug

I was going to redecorate at Xmas/NY but was busy then fell ill. Done a feature wall in living room but "looking" at the rest...wish I had telekinesis and will it up lol. Anyway my walls are not bad and have been skimmed and just emulsioned my kitchen and bedroom. You can even buy tranfers to make a feature on each wall. Got ideas lol

Remember when I was in my sling and high as a kite on Oxycodone after shoulder surgery the basics like buttons and changing a kingsize duvet cover were an effort. Just love my left hand, funny being exclusively right handed I kinda use it most for opening bottle caps.

Big sis is sleeping so made executive decision to get comfy jammies n slippers on. Lashing outside. Another bummer is cleaning bacon off a George Foreman. Miss an eye level gas grill lol

I never do bacon on my George it does tend to stick. Have you tried the microwave? Put bacon onto a small plate...fat side to edge of plate cover with a sheet of kitchen roll and keeping an eye on it cook for between 4 & 5 minutes on the timer you soon get used to timing it to your likeing hmmmm
M

Yip Pooh tried the micro. Stinks and burns easily and greasy cover plate, yuk. I have a combo micro/grill/oven and mainly use it for reheating tea lol. Will try the grill function. I refuse to grill things in my main cooker because of the mess.

Wrist Report please RRB lol

Right okay. Today hand therapy Clinic, Kevin re measured, wrist, hand and fingers and there is some improvement. He said because I live with it 24 7 I wont see the improvement so much, but it is getting there.:) Only when wrist is straight enough then I might be able to have a splint made for the wrist and hand, for extra support at night. But he keeps telling me to try and be patient as it will take many more months, so onwards and upwards :D
Thank you for asking, it really does lift my spirits

It is ok @Janiept we have our window cleaner now ;)
I used to have a window cleaner but he was rubbish, edges were dirty and sacked him. He asked why and I said my 2 year old great nephew could do a better job with some baby wipes lol
