Pet household chore hate

They charge by the weight here. Only outer clothing goes, plus my Egyptian cotton duvet covers that look like a deflated wrinkly balloon when they come out of the tumble drier. Underwear, towels, sheets just get folded and put away.

I ONLY use 100% cotton sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases. Comfy and 200-300 thread suffices. Bought expensive 600 thread count but they are delicate and damage after a good few washes.

My pooch eats remotes, mobile phones, specs, anything left lying about. We can't leave anything like that on view. She once ate a remote for the TV in a holiday cottage we were staying in. It took us all week to find a replacement that suited that TV. Wonderful way to spend a holiday shopping for a bloody remote in a strange area, no idea where any shops were, no internet connection to help, miles from a big town. Bless her cotton socks.

Weather update. Very stormy here. Winds over gale force and sounds like a freight train. Wheelie bins tumbling over. Will do a roof inspection outside with a torch as I have real slate on the roof.
 
My mother irons 'EVERY SINGE THING'
All underwear and smalls included ...
I keep telling her its complete waste of time and energy !

Me - I hate hovering :yuck::yuck::yuck::mad:
Hubby does it for me and mops all our floors too .
No carpets in our house with 2 doggys .

I love washing clothes though - love the smell of
freshly washed clothes . :joyful:
Wet dry these on a maiden except for towels and bedding that
are tumble dried .

I love to dust and wet wipe things down to the point am sure I have
that OCD thing going .
Each day - have a routine that I must do - or cant settle till it IS done .

Just looked at the forecast and isobar charts. Gusts over 70mph here from midnight so being prepared.

I am for def going to either giggle myself for hours in bed or dream of all those My little Ponies on my walls lol lol...you ratfink RRB lol
