:) yummm.

i eat relatively "monotonous" meals compared to what most on here do. for me personally, it instills some discipline. trust me. i fully intend to try all the LC goodies when i get to my desired weight and enter the maintenance phase. looking at some of the LC photos and recipes right now i would be soooo tempted to indulge and tbh would not know when to stop..

Yesterday's food.

B - 9bar and coffee with cream
L - Tomato, pepper & olive salad with 50g chicken and 24g german cheese and a tsp of oil oil
D - 2 egg Omlette with mushrooms and a little mature cheddar with two lamb sticks

It was a good day carb wise and then I spoilt it by eating half a bag of cashew nuts :(

Two egg mushroom omelette with herbs, asparagus and filter coffee with cream...

All followed with a concoction of intensive transitory supplements, including: chromium, magnesium and L-Arginine (for blood and eyes).

Got up late this morning, 10.30, so decided to make brek/dinner at 11.30...................porridge!! Yes I know what you're going to say but I thought "moderation" and it is covering 2 meals. Well reading before porridge 7.9 (that is higher than normal) but reading 2 hours after porridge 11.6.
:eek:OMG, porridge is defo off my shopping list from now on.:D

Yup, once I've finished my current box of porridge I'm not having any more. It's too many carbs and I want to keep about 50 a day

I'm not really into keeping records of carbs per day but rely more on testing which foods agree with me numbers wise (B S Levels). I know for example that bacon and eggs is fine for the BS levels but not so good for the heart problem, so that in moderation I'm hoping is ok.
Again with cheese and cream, ok for the BSL but not so good for the heart problem. Very difficult catch 22 really.

B:breakfast slab
L: St Agur on crackers  Olives feta stuffed peppers, pate. Delish. But higher carb than ideal.
D: homemade chicken tikka masala with sugarsnaps, fried onion (no time to make bhajis :() and I may have Strawbs and cream for pud.

It is difficult. I just want to refine my carb intake and try to stay at 50 or below as I have a lot of weight to lose. Oats seems to be the only thing left for me that affect my bg and carb count.
