7.3 a bit high had a rough night coughing and wheezing. Will try to get a nap later, got phsyio and xray later to check on fluid cause drain has slowed down hope it not blocked.:-(

I was a little shaky i'm on metformin, 2 pills of 500mg everyday with my meals and one glibenclamide every morning with my breakfast i try to not eat any greasy or salty food but over here that's an odyssey cause food here is either greasy or full of carbs any way i just measure my glucose hour and a half after dinner and is 122mg/l but my blood pressure still over 156/94 and the problem is i have PDR any suggestions to low blood pressure?

As far as your blood pressure is concerned; do you carry any excess weight? My BP was higher than optimal when diagnosed, but dropped fairly promptly to healthy scores when I dropped a bit of weight. Last time I went GP was so disinterested in it that she asked what it was these days and didn't bother checking for herself.

A nice flat 4.0 for me - right bang in the middle of my personal range, so happy with that.

I've just ventured outside to add something to the recycling that's doe for collection today. The bin lid was frozen closed! My silver lining is I have more than enough to do indoors today, without having the brave the cold.

Re the BEETROOT from earlier today..35g portion of pickled has 2g carbs; Medium GI and Low GL.... from my GI & GL counter

Nice to see some else uses GL, I personally find it great as you get a wider choice of food. Just because it's not Low carb doesn't mean to say you have to not have.

Morning from a very unhappy Bluetit

5.6 at bedtime (usually lower)
6.5 this morning. (monthly averages have been 5.6 or lower since June)

That is my HIGHEST ever fasting since getting my meter last April. Tested 3 times, and all readings were the same. I was only 7 on diagnosis in January. Tried and tested meal last night, nothing untoward in it. Nothing out of routine. Hands scrubbed etc. Sound night's sleep. Not cold. Not hot. No stress. No sign of illness. Totally perplexed.
