I've just tested my blood. One meter gave me a reassuring 4.7 two hours after eating. Another meter, less than a minute later, gave me 5.9. The variation of these two meters worries me. Has anyone else noticed this kind of problem?

5.9-15%=5.0
4.7+15%=5.4

So likely you real figure is somewhere between 5.0 and 5.4 lets call it 5.2 and accept it - that is a good number and so is 4.7 and 5.9 so why worry. You are likely to get different numbers each time with the same meter let alone across meters. BTW different meters will have different error (not 15%) but they are normally around this
