BS readings

Working through lunch, that old slippery slope. The more you work the more they expect it.
Somone leaves, everyone works so much harder to take up the slack, saying to one another, its only till they find a replacement.
Six months later, all are at breaking point, the stress levels are on the roof. Everyone snapping at one another. Then it's the holiday season, a new person starts, and how long does it take to train them.

The manager thinks he has done a great job saving a wage for six months. But his workforce are exhaust ed and are looking for new jobs.
Thus the roundabout goes round.

Well that was what it was like were I worked.

Well I am sorry you have had a bad experience - I'm lucky my boss is amazing... Yes we all work hard, but he is a fair boss. Always makes sure we get back the time we work outside our hours...he likes to celebrate our successes and he is very motivational. He often sends us all home early after a particularly busy week... I feel very lucky to work for him. He will be retiring at the end of this year at the age of 63 and I will sorely miss him when he goes... :(

Fed up again :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

pre evening meal anywhere between 5.0 and 6.1 and that was using both meters, equally ridiculous
1hr after also random silly readings. Have had to abandon recording this
Waiting now for 2 hour reading to see if I can work something out. I know what the rise should be.

I didn't mind working hard. Glad you have a good boss. I hope the new one will be as nice.

Strangeiy my 44 batch have behaved today mostly. I'm not holding my breath for a repeat tomorrow.

Bed time, 6.6 using the BG Star meter. Codefree 7.3 and 7.2.
Hope tomorrow morning will a nice low one. Fingers crossed please.

Sat and Sunday it doesn't give me any issues .... My liver is obviously allergic to working week. I wonder if I can claim a disability for this lol

Prebreakfast 5.5

@ 2 hours 5.2

Batch 44. Seems OK to me.

6.3 fasting
No post breakfast as stuck in hairdressers
Pre lunch 4.7
Both unadjusted on 44 batch
Post lunch at 90 minutes 6.2 batch 44; 5.5 batch 26 ; retest 5.8 batch 44 I'll go with 5.8 as an average

I've just had a massive difference in readings post lunch at 1 hour.

Before 5.4 (accu chek) and 5.8 (batch 44)
1hr after 6.2 (accu chek) and 7.6 (batch 44)

Last Friday's lunch was identical, we are creatures of habit. The rise from before and 1hr last week was 0.7 on batch 44. This week it is 1.8. :hilarious:
I know from this that the rise shown today on the Accu chek, being 0.8, is by far the most likely.

It really is annoying. I had an identical lunch today to one I have several days a week if I am in town - frittata with salad and coleslaw. Usually see only an under 1 mMol/l rise so i am taking the 5.5 and 5.8 as more realistic. What is annoying me the most is that you can't just knock an average something off as some of the readings are fine when compared to my other batches.
