Hello all again, I trust you are all happy and well. I have not posted for a while, due to Christmas and other things. My BS soon got back to normal range after the holidays. I've jumped back on the LCHF wagon and whilst my weight suffered over the festive period , im starting to lose it again , it seems my bs are ok. Regularly around the 5's low 6's . I'm due my first annual hba1c in April and I'm hoping there is a marked improvement from the initial diagnosis.

Myself and Mrs B have a new hobby, we go metal detecting and regularly enjoy long country walks with the pooches, I have stopped micro managing my condition, and really only test when I know I've eaten something that might effect me or occasional randoms. Personally I think this is a positive thing, yes I'm diabetic , yes I am under control, time to live my life and just get on with it .

Thank you all for the lovely kind words, support and guidance when I needed it, you know who you are .

Take care

Well done @bookmite , nice positive attitude :)

Hello again Bookmite.

Pleased to see you are under control and living your life, and I hope you find some ludicrously valuable treasure. ;)

Hello Mrs B , it's great being in a good place again, we can live encased and engulfed in this condition, or we can manage it break out and lead a normal life as possible . I chose the latter :-)

So far value wise we have found 2 Silver Hammered coins, One is a Queen Mary Groat, and one a Queen Elizabeth Shilling, both date back to the 1500,s . So yes we have Tudor treasure :-) and 2 Victorian coins, a 1897 Cartwheel penny and a 1906 farthing.

I'm now on the hunt for Roman or Saxon Gold lol.

Be good, and take care
