does anyone know where I could buy a customised case? I bought a mini nexus but the case is massive. Meter is longer and thinner.

Scandi - I seem to remember when I joined around this time last year, there was someone posting who made custom fabric ones. But also Google something like "Etsy custom diabetic case" and you should find some on that site.

Thank you! Bumped own post as you replied! Got new meter and it drives me mad having such a big case!
 
Would a mobile phone case do the trick? I've no idea how big your meter is :)

There are lots of pretty pouches on eBay for all sorts of things, and they're often pennies each. Does your meter need lots of protection?

I have a code free but got given (finally) a meter and strips. The meter is a glucorx nexus (think brick) so bought the mini which takes the same strips. 10cm long but under 3cm wide. I keep the brick in my drawer at work and have the mini at home. Wanted small case to go in handbag. I always carry a small cross body handbag with phone, purse, lippy, mirror and keys.

Thought about drawstring but didn't want anything dropping out. Had a look at Etsy and am going to order something from there! When they stop giving me free strips then will revert back to code free but will take the free strips for as long as poss!

It would but think will get something from Etsy as relatively cheap. Thank you!

Just taking one loop in the drawstring or tying a box would stop escapees.........

Conversely, you could try a small cosmetic bag, pencil case or the like. eBay have millions - Clinque, Clarins etc., All the bigger names, and very pretty, as well as anonymous.
