Well....The dreaded batch 44 strikes hard today @Bluetit1802 !!
I've done three on waking;
6.6, 7 and 7.1 !! No way are they correct- i went to bed on 5.2 and hadn't gone higher than 6.7 post evening meal, tried and tested meat and veg :banghead::mad:
I last saw a 7 back in the early days of diagnosis back in june and my usual averages are no where near!! So annoying and frustrating to begin the day!!
Counting to 50 here.......

@kimbo1962 it's behaving very bad I know but we got to finish it. I am thinking of ordering another batch to see if that is better
5.8 before dinner
6.6 after
6.8 fasting
These are all +1 reading than what I normally am.
I did not keep my kit in a warm room thinking it's quite warm already

7.9 this morning!!! After months of being on gliclazide and watching my fasting raise to over 15+ this is a huge achievement. Been on insulin just over a week

5.2 pre breakfast at the end of my scripted Accu strips, back to code free later today, better check to see if they are batch 44 or not.

Work beckons, keep well.

This batch 44 is starting to sound like catch 44.

5.2 this morning.
I would like to think I'm winning the fight with this throat infection......but would be fooling myself.

Extremely hot last night even now, aching all over, I'll finish work a few hours earlier just to rest and try to help the recovery process.

I saw the GP last night, he's not interested in prescribing antibiotics for my throat, even though clearing my throat first thing in the morning produces something that is Grey&Green in colour.

He has however agreed to my second Hba1c now, instead of the 9 months time as I was originally told. :)

Hope your infection clears out soon, they can be nasty... :(

Gosh, that should be so frustrating, especially if you know your numbers... I keep reading about this batch 44... what is it? the batch of strips (like the code that comes written on the strips canister?) or is it a brand?

5.3 here, and still maintaining dinner +2 readings in the mid 5s.

Yep....its the batch number on the pot of Codefree strips. During my almost 8 months since diagnosed there has been a couple of dodgy batches but this 44 seems the absolute worst!!

Thanks Clive - pedantic me doesn't like this catch 44 batch! At least we know it's not actually us going off track, I've done nothing any different, haven't deviated.....so I should be happy :banghead:
Your readings are very consistent , especially now your med free::))
