High and ketones

Every night after my evening meal my bloods are constantly high and my ketones are high too. Not long been discharged from hospital for having high ketones and bloods but all this has given me really bad infections in my mouth and the joints in my knees are really sore and I'm so so sleepy that all I do mostly is sleep. Anyone been through something like this?

you need to ring your nurse or Dr and get your doses adjusted

I would pop along to your local hospital today and get yourself sorted, high bg and ketone levels can lead to a dangerous condition called DKA, don't put things off and go today.

Also agree. Whatever they did in hospital has obviously not solved the problem, and there is a danger that you can end up back in there if it's not sorted . Don't wait until Monday , go today .

Visit your GP or hospital asap and get them to help you manage your BG with medication.

You could also be suffering from a non diabetic problem which would shoot up your bgs there are so many viruses going around at the moment, so many people at work are having sickies , you still have to get it sorted though so good luck.
