Nopes I checked it on mfp and it was a very small bowl, I am starving now so just had a small piece of cheese to get me home
Even the chicken I had added in mfo for tonight as I almost know everyday what I am going to have in the night beforehand

Happy low-carbing... Very good first day... better than mine, for sure... :) not sure about the rye bread and tangerine, they both spiked me so badly I never touched again... :( Which recipe book did you get your mulligatawny soup from... sounds lovely... :)

I'm not surprised you are hungry on such meagre meals. I hope you eat properly tomorrow. Sorry if I sound like I'm nagging, but I want to see you fit and healthy, properly satiated, and getting back to previous BS levels.

I'd love it myself but earlier I was eating a slice or two of burgen that's out. I am going to snack on olives, I normally snack on nuts coz they are high fat and low carb. M&S do a very nice roasted peanuts only 4g carbs but I stopped it coz once I start I couldn't stop and hence went overboard on calories. Now I carry 10 to 15 pistachios or almonds so I don't go overboard. I am trying really hard to find a balance and may be it will just take some time but it will happen, you are never nagging bt you were one of the first person who replied to my thread and guided me I can never forget that day. Thanks a lot for all the support.

Cauliflower Bread:
1 cauliflower - put it in the blender with a clove of garlic
mix in 2-3 eggs, 100grammes grated cheese or parmesan, pinch of oregano & basil
turn out onto baking tray lined with greaseproof paper (pat down & shape)
cook in oven 40mins @170C (325F)
turn over (turn out onto another baking tray lined with greaseproof paper, removing the original greaseproof paper)
cook for a further 20 mins
remove from the oven and cool on a cooling rack
simples!
excellent as a pizza base :)

I'm just about to make some more - yum...!
This may seem like a silly question but do you cook the cauliflower first?

B - mini ham and cheese crustless quiche
L - poached salmon with a Mediterranean salad
S - small piece of Germany smoked cheese

Please eat more calories...you are depriving your body. That is starvation rations even for a petite woman. Please don't make yourself ill :(

As someone else said today, its never a silly question if you don't know the answer. No, the cauliflower is raw. If you use a blender put it in bit by bit. I was silly, packed it all in so tight it wouldn't drop down. Ended up tipping into food processor...

Yesterday:
B: hotel breakfast buffet including 2 little shot glasses of chia and coconut pudding (the first time I've eaten it) - 5.5 at 2 hours! V happy with that. Am going to look up some chia seed pudding recipes.
No lunch. Late snack - 2 choc protein balls followed by a lot of walking.
Dinner: 3/4 of a steak, 3 king prawns, salad, brocolli and green beans, some Greek salad, some roast pork.

Not all squirty cream is,sweetened but best not to take the risk... Think u might have one if those tonight, homemade version of course
What a good idea... :)

Wheat, rye, spelt - you name the grain and you need to test properly after it to see if it spikes you - we are all different, but grains are notorious... wheat free/gluten free never means carb-free... :( sadly... I cannot eat any of it... make my own flax/almond flour every morning in the microwave, using a recipe the guys on here use... it's wonderful toasted too.. :)

That's a good handy hint there.. :)

Magic Bullet coffee (started the day 5.8 and after the coffee it was 4.3!)
B Green smoothie made with goat's yoghurt; one boiled egg mashed with tsp mayonnaise and 4 anchovy fillets, espresso w cream
L Flax/almond mic muffin, sliced, toasted, spread with goat's camembert, olives and chillies stuffed with feta and salad
D Chicken and veg soup I made with all the dregs of the veg drawer last night... I used one of the delish chicken thighs from the soup to go with my mushroom stir-fry (M&S) last night...
I'm sure I will have a small bowl of berries and cream too...
Found a pack of wrinkled blueberries at the back of the fridge so put in a pan with a little water and xylitol - lovely jam to put on flax bread.. :) Waste not want not...

I know... it's a lot to get your head round... the thing that makes it all worthwhile in the end is the magical weight loss and lower numbers... :) I am still researching after 4.5 months... still fascinates me.... and the folks on this forum are so well-informed - they can answer almost anything you ask... except maybe what has happened to our Rugby and Cricket squads... :)
