Hi Folks
I've just had my first hypo. As my BG is usually on the high(ish) side, whilst I'm still building up my list of safe foods, I was quite shocked. The hypo wasn't what I expected either...no sweating, fast heartbeat etc...just suddenly very dizzy & spinny. I took a spoonful of honey, a Haribo jelly sweet and followed that up with a glass of milk & a slice of LivLife bread. Just checked my BG & it's gone up to 4.8 now. How often should I test after a hypo, what is the appropriate amount of time between testing following a hypo AND did I manage it appropriately? Please advise.
Thank you
