Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

5.8 top end of my morning reading, I put it down to HAVING to taste my youngest daughters school cooking raisin flapjacks, just the one small square but late last night, well that my excuse lol

6.5 this am...do not feel as though I have slept today ...slept fitfully :banghead:
 
9.2 up during the night with a coughing fit. Hope there is no infection brewing. Off to have monthly blood count test cause of methatrexate.

Just noticed you are on methotrexate. I've weaned myself off that in the last year. Take care of your liver and make sure you get monthly liver function tests. I know they are a pain, but they really are essential
 
Mine 7.2 this am ..slightly better than yesterday though had a high carb meal in the evening ( tortilla's ) total of 67 carbs I did exercise for 1/2 hr afterwards as a counterbalance ;)

The blood tests can be a pain but I would rather know what is going on than become really I'll. I am hoping to reduce my steroids down to my maintaince dose of 10mg next week and am back in diabetic clinic too. I am hoping reducing steroids and going back to preventive antibiotics will help my sugar levels

I'm the same this morning Poshtotty in that I also got my first fasting five (see below) since I began testing at the beginning of February. Doesn't it feel good?
