I need some advice with boys and diabetes, they seem to think there is something wrong with me so I'm like undateable :(

Really don't worry about it lottie
Its a fact that boys take longer to mature than girls. whilst you are maturing into womanhood any young lad of your tender age is more interested in their x box etc than young girls at the moment, this will change. Wait whilst their hormones start raging and you will be beating them off with a stick.

Sancho panza .....agony uncle lol

Aww babes there's not something wrong with you, there's something wrong with them :) when I was growing up I had boys say Eugh what's that when I'd get my injection out, but boys are more fascinated than girls with diabetes i find now! Just make sure when they finally mature n come back to you, you tell them to get lost! Haha xx

I think the likely thing is that boys/men don't actually have a problem with most things at all, just that as women we are on the whole...emotional, worried, paranoid and insecure over thinkers!! That's not necessarily our fault as due to the nature of monthly cycles etc we have a lot more hormonal changes than men going on.

I find men are all pretty chilled, actually wish I could think more like a man and not be ruled by pointless emotions!!

Mrs B and I have a date every day for lunch (I make it and take it to her shop and she eats it). She doesn't seem to mind dating me but then we're just coming up to our 25th wedding anniversary.
This thread is in General Chat and not Children & Teens so I declare the subject open to wrinklies too.

When the right person comes along it won't gross him out, he will care enough to make sure you have your meals on time, he will remind you to test and take your jabs, he will make sure you have all your bits and pieces in your bag, he's out there you just haven't met him yet.
Ignore the pimple chops/gross out noobs they are not worth the time of day, patience will pay dividends.

Ahem .....
(Posted in the interest of balance)

The OP's post was about boys  and from a very recent experience from me I posted about it. Also the last sentence was an upbeat positive one for Lottie :) So definitely no need for an interest of balance :wideyed: :D

Best wishes RRB :)

I hope u liked the blog..;)

You're still a young lady ..... way ahead in many respects of guys similar in age to you.

Take it from me .... they will cotton on to you in time when they finally wake up to what they see in front of them. Then they won't care as they'll see WHO you are rather WHAT you are ..... labels are nothing .... unwrap the package and when they see what lies within, you might just be surprised.

T1 defines you no more than shy young men with their own inhibitions who are simply on a journey. Just as you are. Wishing you well

Mike
