I occasionally do talks for a local business group, usually on Personnel/HR type topics, and I did one on Tuesday, on the subject of identifying and developing talent.

My first slide was headed "What is talent"? I like to have a few light-hearted pictures, to illustrate my spiel and for the (mainly) female audience that I was talking to, I chose this:

Ugly so-and-so, isn't he? :D

Well hello

I was expecting a serious comparison of the fine collection of thespian actors working in the series and perhaps an intelligent discussion of the beautiful Cornwall landscapes the bbc have so beautifully captured, i never expected for a minute this would turn out to be a pervy ladies thread :) Only a day to go ladies, sunday tomorrow, keep your tongues in and off the floor.

Oh come on! Are you telling us you're not drooling over that redheaded passionhouse Demelza?;)

Mrs DeeJayR will be watching it and I'll be doing crosswords on my tablet thing. I think Robin Ellis, the original tv Poldark, is a diabetic and has written up some recipes. I was looking at some yesterday.

I managed to get a look at one of his books, and I must say there are a lot of chickpeas, chickpea flour, white beans, flagelot beans. some of the recipes are a bit simplistic (take 2 lamb chops, marinade in olive oil with rosemary sprigs then grill). I probably wouldn't bother buying it.

Got to say the Verity and the Sea Captain scene (EP2) rocked and i was hoping Francis would get it this time, i think he has nine lives bit like Kill Kenny in Southpark.

lol u got me... im diggin dat demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) awooohaaaaa wooga wooga. shes got the phwoooar factor.
Calm down dear, it's only a programme. suggest you go and have a cold shower before tomorrow nights episode, though on second thoughts after getting a preview of tomorrow night we're all going to need a cold shower :nailbiting:
