Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Hi, @Gabe86, If you can get control of your diet with Low Carb High Fat, get you numbers under control you may lose some weight also that's if you are overweight. Doing that will really help then you can, like I did today, had 3 pints of beer shot up to 8.3 on the hour but back to 6.4 at 2hrs.

But you really need to work on those numbers anything over 8.5 is damaging. Are you exercising?

I am 220 pounds
Losing the weight will help tremendously in reducing your numbers. I was 232lbs 10 months ago started the LCHF diet and I am now 194lbs it has made such an incredible difference to my numbers. I probably walk about 30 mins every day very briskly but not always.
