Polenta.

Grits n' cheese is heaven ! I haven't ever tried the ready made polenta, but occasionally make the grits with cornmeal . It is rather carby, but I find that I can tolerate it in small quantities, perhaps because I am generous with the cheese :D

I tried the ready made tonight as chips, was ok. It was about the only carby thing on the plate & 5.5 post, 1hr 7.7 & 2hrs 5.7 so stayed in the range I like.
The ready made is only 16g/100g but the polenta to make is 77g/100g but the carb content drops when made up I believe, guess if you added chia or such to it, it would slow it's glycemic load.
 
Had some more polenta chips tonight with smoked haddock & salad.
