Well, T2s, unless on insulin, gliclazide, or similar are unlikely to suffer a medically dangerous hypo. If your profile mess are correct, I don't think what you're taking fits the category.
My sugars run quite low, since I got things under control, and I regularly see 3s, down to the low3s, without feeling any more uncomfortable than pretty hungry. I'm sure I usually feel hungry, under about 3.3, because I'm ready to eat. At 2.6 I was grumpy, but I'm sure at least part if that was seeing a number starting with a 2!!
If I am low and hungry, and food is imminent, I just eat in my usual way. If food isn't on the immediate horizon, I just have a cup of tea with some milk, which just brings me up a bit, so that I'm comfortable until I eat.
Not everyone feels so relaxed with low numbers, but that's just me.
If you are low, and feel "off", you should do something about it, but I would urge you not to have jelly babies, glucose or Lucozade if you can avoid it. That is likely to shoot your blood score up very quickly (which some find unpleasant in itself), then there is often a rebound drop back down, because of the fast acting nature of those hypo remedies.
Do you go low, or are you numbers lowering and you're trying to be prepared, just in case?
