I recently picked up a new glucose meter from my doctors surgery that can talk...nothing too fancy just very basic stuff like 'apply blood to test strip'...'your blood glucose is 5.9mmol' but it occurred to me that this could be quite a fun feature for a meter...maybe more for children...you could have it offering up praise for a good reading...or a little sarcasm for a bad one...'put the cake down'...'uh oh...what've you been up to?'.

Just for fun...what would yours say?

Today, it would sing Captain Sensible's 'Happy talk' 4.9 and a 6,0

Good tune :) While this sounds a little morbid...a friend of mine has specified this as her funeral song...because it's one of those songs that you can't help smiling about when you hear it. While I dread her funeral (she's only 40 something...so a good long time away yet I hope) I reckon this could quite an experience but this song will always remind me of her and make me smile.

Can't decide between Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire" or Meatloaf's "Bat Out of Hell"

Best one I heard at was Runrig's "Old Boys"
for an old soldier!
