Just reintroducing myself as i was here before but lapsed big time.

I'm back for support really.

After getting over a major bout of depression and taking the bull by the horns so to speak, i decided to get to grips with my diabetes and changed my whole lifestyle by being more proactive in my managment.

Took drastic action and did a 10 day juice reboot with 80-20% veg and fruit respectively, very hard to do but it gave me confidence to start my road to recovery.

I now eat a more balanced diet cutting out all dairy and processed and exercise more. My bloods sugars are between 6 - 8 which for me is fantastic as they used to be high teens.

So hello all

Hello John and welcome back :) Good for you, taking control and sorting yourself out , and for reducing your levels so well too :)

Hi John and well done for getting your bs down, Im trying but I dont think I could live on just drinks. Well done you.

Hi and welcome. There is some great advice and support on here. You are not alone in this, and there are some brilliant people all wanting to support one another through this journey. I am still a newbe as I was only diagnosed a few weeks ago, bur keeping in touch with the form is helping me to be positive about my diagnosis and to look at this as a new beginning. Great news that you bs levels are down, must be a real boost for you and maybe this will be a new start for you too. Good luck
