Diabetes camps. Does anyonelse remember?

Hi everyone,
Bit of a long shot, but did anyone or know anyone that went to diabetes camp?
Was in botley around 1999.
I used to write to someone called Heidi after the camps but lost contact.
Just wondered if anyonelse remembers the camps?
 
I remember going to camp. I cant remember where it was but remember going twice and hated it cause I was there on my birthday :(

Think I would have went in mid '90s.

I used to love them. Used to do kayaking, zip wire and all sorts of activities. I have pictures aswell while being there which I will upload. Just a shame as don't think they even do them anymore. I never used to do my injection myself until I went there.
 
I never got to do anything as exciting as that. :(

We had walking about the hills and a 'sports day'

Only plus was, me & one of the boys there had the same birthday so we got a HUGE chocolate cake lol.

I remember colour coded stickers as well for meal times.
