hay all am very new to this only today iv round out am borderline diabetic n have underactive thyroid n have suffered with major depression n anxiety panic attack for years now
anyway am a bit lost in all this as how i got to this n ways to help me coz the new meds of thyroids they are not yet going to give me meds of the diabetes just yet tho i would of thought they would as am over wight it runs in family
 
Hi and welcome to the forum. I will tag @daisy1 and she will post some information for you to read over. As its been caught early you can quite easily start to make some changes now to yprevent it from developing into diabetes.

Hi Macbeth are you type one or two. Sounds like you have had a struggle for sometimes with bits. Could counselling be an option?
 
Hi and welcome,

You don't need diabetes medication if you are not diabetic! Diet is the key at the moment, and you can avoid full blown diabetes with a suitable diet plan. Have a good read round the forum, especially Daisy's post when she arrives here.

hi fay all the doc told me that i was dorderline tho as thyroid test came back that i had underactive they need to treat that first i am in docs 2wks for more test it just got it me a bit as my dad sufferd from diabetic n loads of other probs to it scared me its been almost 10 years sins my dad past on still wighting 37st iv tryed loads of diffrent counselling n still find it very hard every day n now this x

Oh Macbeth I am so sorry to hear this. It sounds like a pants situation that also is bringing back nightmares may I ask the different counselling you did did you feel motivated and comfortable with the counsellor?

i only found one counsellor i liked tho she lost her unborn baby n never came back i have tryed bereavement stress depression anxiety n not any have really work i do have loads of other stuff to going on in my life i have 3 sons 22 19 n 15 the 22 year old has not gone out of he room in 4 years the 19 he has ocd n odd my youngest has adhd bipolar n add i also have fluid on brain lost eye sint in one eye am a big mess really x :( n now to have these too x
 
You really do have it rough, it makes it all a bit harder. I know how hard it is to find a good counsellor, my 20 yr old suffers from borderline personality disorder, depression and ocd and it was impossible to find a good one. My 21 and 16 yr olds have ASD as does my 3 yr old grand daughter so I can empathise with the stress you must be under.
 
Hi wow you do have things tough and I am sorry re your counsellor. I guess it's important for you to have support even more
 
Thanks both yeh time are very hard at mo I feel very alone again n down as I told my dad few wks be4he past id never get the prob he had iv been on my own for last 8 years to just me n lads am glad you kinda know what am going throw with the lads x
 
Life isnt easy at the best of times. Just be assured we are here for you and I know its only over the forum but I have found I always feel positive after coming on here and I think, for myself anyway that positivity is a great motivator. Keep your chin up and keep us informed of your progress. If you need to ask questions or jyst want to chat we are here for you, always.

Thank you n yeh i will keep updated n I know what you mean about been on here was good to just let it all out yesterday feel I can get on with today a new day:-) x
