Hi all its getting closer to receiving my pump I am nervous. I am a scaffolder and worrying about having lows does the pump manage diabetes better than M.D.I s whilst working hard any advise would be great thanks

You'll be monitoring your bg levels more closely (especially in the first few weeks) to get your basal rates sorted and in this time you'll be in regular contact with your pump DSN, they likely start you one basal rate (probably a reduced one given your work) and you will make adjustments from there, try not to worry as it will all be worth it in the end. Thanks a lot for the advise I am really considering funding the CGM so I have smart guard I think it's no Braner to be honest what do u guys think thanks
