Trigeminal neuralgia

Anyone else suffer from trigeminal neuralgia. Had it now for over 30 years. A debilitating condition as anyone who suffers from it will know. I take carbamazepine 200mg twice or three times a day. My doctors has told me that it affects the liver so must in turn affect blood glucose action.

Any views.

I had trigeminal neuralgia for 3 years and was taking nearly 1000mg of carbamazepine spent most of my time on the settee until i had an operation for it and have never looked back.
