Carnt believe it, stuck to my strict diet and been see the dietitian for the 1st time and wore the same stuff as wen i seen the DN 2half weeks and only to be told i avent lost nothing,so disappointed me, I thought i had lost a couple of pounds..

Have you calculated your BMR? Are you eating around 500 cals a day less than your BMR? Has the "strict" diet been given to you by the dietitian? Have you recorded everything you've eaten to show the dietitian? Assuming that you've done all that, dieting can be a lot more than reducing calorie intake and increasing exercise.

Don't be too disappointed, I've been following a strict regime for 8 years and I'm still trying to find out what makes the body lose sometimes and not others, it really isn't straight forward for some people, but I will get there.

Have you always had problems losing weight regardless of how many calories you eat? My metabolism went into survival mode every time I tried to reduce calories to the extent that when I was younger my body started 'shutting down' and my GP told me to start eating properly again or I would have serious health issues! However since I started eating lower carbs and full fat foods I managed to steadily lose 3 stone in 8 months but the last 2 months I've lost ounces as opposed to pounds but when I weighed myself this morning another 4lb has gone!! It's early days yet but persevere and I'm sure you'll get there!!
