I don't know anything about rhodiola but it's best to check with your doctor because it might stop gliclazide from working or cause harmful effects. There was a thread in the last couple of days about st johns wort and metformin - the herb stopped the drug working and the person's BGs went too high.I feel I should be taking my rhodiola(an adaptogen herb) for depression but just unsure if its still ok to take while on gliclazide. Does anyone know?
This is a good website for info about supplements and there is a long entry on this one:Thanks @SweetLucie and @CatLadyNZ . It has worked really well for me so thats all the evidence I need and I have spoken to many people on a thread about Rhodiola before that it has worked wonders for . But its more for milder depression and anxiety. Im just unsure about taking it along with diabetes meds, but I would like to start taking again. My doc had never heard of it when I mentioned it but I might try asking chemist or perhaps somebody on here might know..Thanks for replies!
