Have I got my figures right?

I get a little confused over HbA1c figures. My last test in May was 71 mmol, which I equate to around 8.6.
I stopped my medications in February because it was causing me serious bowel problems.
I've been on low carb and exercise over the past few months.
I had a repeat HbA1c last week. My results were 50 mmol. Does this equate to 6.7? I'm just pleased it going in the right direction.
GP wants me to have a repeat renal blood test though.

Hi Cocacola, the website shows the following chart, so I would say your about 7.5. Not bad, well done!
