I am trying to keep myself healthy as I can and trying to keep my sweet tooth under control but find it increasingly hard. Does taking PLJ help in the morning gs to keep sweet tooth under control really work .What do you all think about it. I really need go do something.

What's PLJ? I have a sweet tooth too but I seem to manage on sugar free jelly and the occasional square of dark chocolate (Ombar is the brand that I use from the local organic co-op)

Hello. I remember PLJ lemon juice. I just use a chunk of lemon in hot water first thing in the morning. I found over time that lemon juice seems to get sweeter! That's because I stopped eating sweet things. I don't know any other way of killing the habit.
Also, I prefer to stick to natural things without additives.
(EDIT Er, except bacon and chorizo but that's another story)

Happened to me too !

The thing to remember about drinking lemon juice in water is that it's acidic so don't go cleaning your teeth straight after drinking it and if poss use a straw so less gets on your teeth, it's bad for the enamel. But it is good for you as it has vitamin C and becomes alkaline in the body.

I feel lucky because I don't have a sweet tooth, I miss freshly made popcorn and basmati rice ! I don't know of any way but to switch to sweeteners and cut down. The more sweet stuff you cut out the better it becomes because eventually it will taste horrible.
