home alone and

Mep I wish you well, you have alot of things wrong with you that I can seen from your Sig. I have my kids but they are both teenagers, brother man and nephew are in Spain but mam is asking if alls ok which is fine while I,m awake. I have only ever had about 5-10 hypos in 43 years that have needed paramedics and most are night time, these are when I dream and the dream turns sour as I,m sure you may have had and then the not knowing your hypo but things you see/feel/hear are so real, but when you get brought back round you wonder how you could even think it was real hahaha. Thanyou for your reply and hope you remain safe and well yourself

@Mep We all suffer from loneliness at times but truly hope chatting at this forum helps.

The HypoBand also has a Panic Button that works in the same way as a Hypo trigger. Up to 3 caregivers can be called when activated and can either come to your assistance or give you a call to ensure you are OK.

I was in a diabetic coma a few weeks ago, 1st time in 26 years that I have been taken to hospital after being woken up in an ambulance, frightened, scared and mortified that it happened.(not during the night or whilst sleeping) Just got on with life straight after as it wasn't going to affect my life, but as time went on it hit me hard and I was in a terribly dark and scary place, some where I never want to go to again, my teenager could of possibly been been an orphan, rare, but it could of happened.
I fought my way back, but it was so hard. Not having another adult at home is a lonely place sometimes, but I will still be here for a long time to come.
Any time you would like to talk, please feel free to pm me if you would like to. Goodnight and sleep peacefully and soundly.

@Robinredbreast yeah I know the feeling, last time the paramedics were called for the diabetes was around July this year due to a night time hypo, same one came round when I was taken into hospital a couple of month ago due to breathing problems. He remembered there was a bird in my bedroom ( the big window was wide open ) hahaha and it must have flown in, it is a scary place to be in, my daughter was going to stay but shes is now in full time work but think I'll ask her to text me every night when I see her on Sunday because IF I do not reply she will know there is something wrong (she's my bestie) hahaha.

Also thanks and I will take you up on that offer of a chat if needed :)
