I (almost) completely avoid rapid sugars like desserts.
I have 1 injection of 21units Tresiba per day and 3 to 4 Novorapid before the meals and sometimes before sleeping.
I would just say the truth to the diabetic nurse. You don't really what s/he thinks of you. Just expect good advice.
