    Offloading & a question

    Also ghastly for the person trying to help the diabetic. I screamed at my husband "you are trying to kill me" right outside of Selfridges as he frantically tried to get me to drink a tin of Coke! I feel for both of you.

    Do not be too hard on yourself. No one can me a "perfect diabetic". Some days are easier than others. Be strong and have faith in yourself.

    Type 1 Running out of injection sites

    Not sure about healing eventually because I have not used my arms in over 10 years and the doctor said they were still not useable. Perhaps it I just me. We are all different.

    Anonymous Question Running low at work

    It appears you need your insulin adjusted. Also, chocolate is not the correct thing to eat. Glucose tablets or a sugary drink (eg Coke) or orange juice work faster.

    I was 10. I was trying on last year's summer clothing. Everything was too large on me. My mother took me to the doctor the next day because I had obviously lost so much weight. I can remember it as if it happened yesterday: it was 61 years ago!
