I have diabetic retinopathy and an epiretinal membrane. I have been a Tye p1 diabetic since 1971 and always controlled my condition well. I now have dry macular degeneration and cannot shake off my depression. Is anyone else in a similar situation and now do you cope?

I enjoy painting landscapes. They don't usually require fine detail, which is just as well as my diabetic retinopathy can be a problem!

My eyes have gone blurry. I have had Type 1 diabetes for 48 years. There is no pain, my eues just feel hot and tired and won't focus properly. My blood sugar levels do not seem to affect it.
