    I have had shingles 3 times, first when my son was born with problems had them on my stomach, second when my brother in law died young had them all down the nerves in my leg and thirdly when my mother died had them on neck and back of head. doctor told me stress related each time apparently...

    used to hear my late mum complaining about metformin and diarrhoea so wasnt looking forward to it shen i was diagnosed last year but i'm on the SR version and after a week settled and no more problem with it. definitely worth asking about it. good luck and hope things settle down for you.

    is it true type 2 diabetes shortens your life

    Shaun my mum and dad both lived till a month after their 84th birthdays and both diabetic. would you want to live any longer than that!!!! the only down side is i was a cert to get it from the genes and lo and behold diagnosed last october..
