I have to say this is the first time i've been on this site or any other but you've been really helpfull and i do appreciate it, the last question i will bother you with just now is should i not drink any alcohol at all or what is best on metformin tablets .

thanks for that it does seem a bit odd to me and as sometimes i get a bit shaky i'm not sure what i'm supposed to do or if i should do anything at all, i've been reading the food pages and i don't know really anything about what i'm supposed to be counting or is that just for type 1's i've not...

i never take a blood reading at home i bought a kit but my nurse told me they don't recommend it is that right ?
