    @SlimLizzy not sure we have the preventing course is available here but it is a great idea to fight it from that end, rather than wait for people to be diagnosed! They are slowly catching up which is great. Yes I continue the fight forever :)

    thanks Richard that makes sense. I have lost about 7" from my waist but still need to get rid of another inch or 2, which seems rather stubborn! I will have to look at I.F., but I tend to feel dizzy if I dont eat, so I have been putting it off so far

    thanks Rachox, yes thats a good way to see it, this is all a relatively new way of dealing with T2. That helps me see it more clearly thanks and well done on your numbers!

    thanks for that - Im having aubergine, courgette, red and green pepper and carrots (for hubby I just have 1 bit of carrot). I sometimes add asparagus for the last 15 mins but i dont have any today. with that we are having high meat content sausage - i cant wait!

    lol that is a very good question to which I have no good answer! I guess the word "fasting" reminds me of diets I would go in in my youth where I would be starving for days - I just havent looked into IF so I need to understand it - it is on my radar now thanks for asking which has given me a push!
