Thanks for all your replies, Reece is currently experiencing an overnight stay in the local German hospital whilst the run tests, they said he is showing classic signs on apendicitis but wat to be sure.... He is on drips and they have placed him on an insulin pump too. The pain has not left...

Hi Sadie My Son doesn't have to avoid sweets, he is only allowed 30g of normal sugar daily but does not have to go without sweets. We do however avaoid full fat coke etc etc we have been told that he is not to drink theses at all
