    Pump Upgrade Help

The thing that concerns me about the Omnipod is if you lose the meter, you have no other way to administer insulin. Whereas with any other pump you can still use the pump without it's meter. :)

    How long?!

Yeah I think as soon as the consultant approves it, they send a letter off for funding and it's just a matter of waiting for the pump to arrive :D Oh I know how irritating MDI is lol I had my DAFNE follow up yesterday and even they had no suggestions how to fix my BGs lol Good luck with it, I...

    How long?!

Hi novowolf, I did DAFNE the first week of July and I think I'm getting the pump in September. Another person on my DAFNE course is getting hers in two weeks. It all depends on the hospital I think. Have you had the initial meeting with the pump consultant? Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Type 1 - Levemir question

Hi, My BMs did exactly the same while I was on my DAFNE course. As I was having my doses exactly 12 hours apart, the nurses suggested I have the night time levermir sooner. What time do you have your levermirs? Ash

BGL SPREADSHEET - HELPED ME A LOT!

Wow this is amazing. Can't wait to fill it in and see my results in a clear way. I use the DAFNE logbook and it's so unclear haha. Thank you so much for sharing. What happened to you is really interesting, I'm so glad that you had no permanent damage and got rid of the diabetes :D

    Checking during the night.

Hello, Have you asked the DSN about maybe borrowing a CGM from the hospital for a week or so? I've read that some hospitals do this. It will help you get a better view of what her BG is doing all through the night. :D

Hi Linsay, Glad to hear you have a date, I hope everything goes well for you. I really want a pump myself after reading all the posts on here but I'm on the waiting list for DAFNE first. I'd love to hear how you get on with it in the beginning stages, maybe you could start a blog type thread in...

    Hi everyone

Hi, I'm new here. I thought I would register as I am just getting back on track after having poor control for the past few years. My name's Aysha, I was diagnosed with T1 when I was 9 (I'm 25 now :shh:). In February this year my Hba1c was 15.7, my last one was 9.5 so a big improvement :D but...
