    Meter suggestion

I would say the Contour Next One will tick the boxes. I personally have "weakness " for AccuChek Mobile as its most convenient. If Abbot will release new version of Freestyle Optium Neo with Bluetooth and app support it would be the best... The PC app for Optium Neo stopped working a while ago...

GlucoRX Nexus or Contour Next One

In my opinion and experience Freestyle optium neo is the best and most advanced, but lack of Bluetooth/NFC and app is a big disadvantage novadays. And yes, the Contour Next One is the best.

GlucoRX Nexus or Contour Next One

Yeah that’s why I’m not able to connect Contour. It’s country dependent. My nephew is working in MySugr and I had a chat with him about my issue. UK support about 12 readers. Germany only 2!!! Anyway I’m sticking with accu-check for now. It’s the most convenient despite it shows higher readings...

GlucoRX Nexus or Contour Next One

Hmm strange. My phones (iPhone 7 & Samsung S10) only detects accu-check mobile. I was thinking that deleting Mobile and then try pair with Contour but I am afraid to lose my data.

    Test Meters Don't Agree.

I agree. I like the Freestyle Optium Neo, because it also checks ketons and other advanced features. However the lack of Bluetooth and mobile/PC [emoji985] apps is a dealbreaker for me. Was never a fan of filling the book. Now deciding between AccuChek Mobile and Contour Next One. Like the...

What is out of control diabetes ???

Hi there. Controlled mean keep your bs on level ( eg btwn 6-8) during the day. Uncontrolled means you can have 5.6 on morning, 17,6 at lunchtime and 23 at evening. This situation can (and will eventually ) cause a lot of damage to your body organs, eyes liver etc.

    Test Meters Don't Agree.

Very interesting... I have currently 3 meters. Used Freestyle Optium Neo, then AccuChek Mobile and now Contour Next One. Prefer the last 2 as they comes with Bluetooth and work well on smartphone. Did some tests on all of them and as expected AccuChek Mobile was way off. The Contour and...

GlucoRX Nexus or Contour Next One

Great news. I am using mysugr with AccuChek Mobile but got Contour Next One. I was using this Contour in the past and was happy with it. Then AccuChek Mobile came in with Bluetooth and that was a big deal for me as don't like to fil the booklet. However the AccuChek Mobile is not the best. Glad...

    accu chek mobile

Well it's frustrating to see so big difference... tbh prefer the AccuChek, but if it shows much higher reading I don't want to pump too much insulin and then fall into hypo. Will have to stick with Freestyle, despite not as convenient to use... also don't want to argue with gp/ diabetes nurse...

Back to Lantus and after a week of "settlement " all back to normal. Strange that Toujeo seem to have no effect at all for me.

    accu chek mobile

Hi there. I'm using AccuChek Mobile for simple reasons: •no need for stripe •my sugar app However...was short of cassette so got temporary supply of Freestyle Optium Neo. It has better functionality and more compact but use strips, so no good to me. Also has no mobile app. As I got my...
