My mum had T2 diabetes for about 22 years managed by tablets. I am fortunate in that my blood registered 48 so picked up early. Diagnosed February this year and only lost 3 and half to 4 pounds so far. (Not so happy about that!) I am taking half a tablet twice a day (forget evening half sometimes!) tested blood a few days ago and reading was 5.3 so happy. As a Christian I prayed about side effects and it has not been too bad. Wish I had paid more attention to diet and exercise and I might not be where I am now.
